Crankpot Big Muff Civil War
Limited Edition Crankpot CP-1LE is a very novel version of the most famous Big Muff “Civil War” originally fabricated in the ’90s by Electroharmonix & Sovtek. The presented effect with its excellent design and rich sound is the most sophisticated version of Civil War you may find accessible on the market. We’ve created effect which is a result of our long and deep adoration with guitar music, that lead us to seek for the finest and purest sound which we believe lays with this particular Muff.
In comparison to all available BMs our effect is 100% handmade with deliberate care for every little detail. The first thing catching your eye is the enclosure box’s design, as a result of improved fusion of previous American and Russian versions. This improvement refers also to such features as the material – acid-resistant steel and lowering of its back height allowed us to advance and reinforce durability of the structure as well as to solve the problem of putting the effect in pedal board.
However the major characteristic of our Muff is its incredible sound - utterly identical to the original Electroharmonix/Sovtek Big Muff Civil War. This is due to genuine unique Russian NOS parts: the transistors, the capacitors, the resistors, the wires. All of these vintage NOS electronic elements have been thoroughly tested and then selected from its group as the best ones in order to come up with the best set. This allowed us to provide you with amazing musical effect - pure and perfect sound of the original Civil War, with its brighter and less scooped mids, and less gain.
